I tutor kindergarten through fifth grade students in reading, writing, grammar, and phonics as well as math, study skills, and test prep for the ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT exams. Currently, I am a reading teacher for fourth graders. I think all children just need proper instruction and guidance to learn. A proponent of education, I find many aspects of the profession fulfilling and rewarding, but helping a struggling student see past their worries and realize they have potential is the best part. I graduated from Arizona State University and have a B.A. in Elementary Education. Also, I have a State of Texas Certification in EC-6. Desoto, Texas is where I live and I enjoy singing, cooking, and Zumba in my spare time.
